Mercedes-Benz designer Maitreya Dhanak from Mumbai created the “Stingray Homage” concept—a digital tribute to the classic front-engine Corvette Stingray (C2/C3 eras). This two-seater grand tourer reimagines the iconic American sports car with retro proportions, a front-midship V8 powering the rear wheels, and modern luxury touches.
Key design highlights include:
- Aggressive shark-nose front with quad round LED headlights, chrome accents, turbine wheels, and side exhausts.
- Curved rear fenders, quad oval taillights, integrated diffuser, iconic split rear windshield, and a roof “spine” evoking Bugatti style.
- Luxe interior with saddle leather and jewel-like retro-modern controls.
Dhanak balanced nostalgia with practicality like packaging and stance, but as a fan project, it won’t reach production. Check his Instagram (@maitreya.dhanak) for renders—it’s a fresh alternative to mid-engine C8 vibes like the teased C9.
