Ford swaps 5.4 with all new 5.8 liter V8 for 2013 Shelby GT500! Ford is going to develop its Romeo V8 plant by investing $50 million. It is not yet official which “charge” will be used: supercharger or twin turbocharger.
Expect Shelby with unique cooling modifications and other new changes like a pair of winglets to the front bumper for the extra downforce, complete roll-cage [wow!] and serious brakes suggests more power is to come.
