This is probably the world’s sweetest custom 1969 Mercury Cougar Convertible. The car was built by the HRE. It firstly started as a mild restore and a paint job project, but finished as fully custom and quite radical vehicle.
The cat has custom perimeter frame and full body drop with some trim shaved, lots of sheet metal changed and painted in “Vibrance” color, controllable RideTech airbag suspension with 18-20-inch wheels, custom interior and many other modifications. Under the hood they planted 4.6 liter 32-valve Cobra engine [DOHC] from 97 Ford an mated it with 4-speed automatic transmission an many other donor parts from GM, Lincoln, etc.
This 1969 Mercury Cougar Convertible was listed for $135K on eBay.
