A wild story of one 1969 Mach 1 Mustang

posted in: Custom | 0

It all started in 1987 when Ken, a guy that names himself Gsxrken at pro-touring.com forums got this rusted 1969 Mustang Mach 1.

He firstly restored the body, painted it with perfect green body color, equipped it with amcarguide’s favourite set of TTII rims and then got onto the powertrain mission. He took 352W and stroked it up to 408 and then mated it to a Tremeck TKO600 5-speed gearbox back in 2005. In 2007 the car received new Wilwood brakes. The car was perfect. You may obviously see that in the photos below.

But… Ken couldn’t stop. Cars like  Agent 47 Mustang influenced him to redesign his already awesome pony again. He bought a new set of wheels, put some additional width to rear quarter flares and repainted it into other but also very cool looking HOK Tangelo Orange body color. A bit later he added rear spoiler, updated the front chin spoiler with turnbuckles and got himself a new set of Recaro seats. All these new modifications were done in 2011-2012 period. The whole detailed story is here.

Ken, you will be listed in our “wall of fame”. Respect!
