While mpg requirements threaten muscle cars of today, Ford seems to be quite confident about the future by employing the most advanced technology which will deliver both – performance and fuel economy with their new Ford GT.
The latest interpretation of the GT evokes memories about the original GT40, but is also more modern, more sharpened and more 2005 GT-like. The rear-engined car will be powered by supercharged V8 which will get extra power from an electric assistance which will spin the front wheels. This will help Ford to go green, but keep the 3-to-60 club membership and still provide around 600 HP.
