Muscle car war isn’t over yet. While Mustang offers their 302 Boss and Shelby GT500 models, Chevrolet finally confirmed 2012 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro. There were a few teaser spy shots early this year, but then GM suspended Z28 program due to massive cost. Luckily, the new 5th gen Camaro outsold Mustang and GM let their Z28 go.
2012 Z28 Camaro is rumoured to have a supercharged LS3 engine making 560-plus HP. Z28 will probably get that 20-ich wheels and brake set up seen on the Cadillac CTS-V. Design wise, the Z28 will get a more aggressive front fascia and a larger bulge in the hood to make room for the monstrous engine. No official photos yet – only spy shots.
