While surfing the net I found this speechless Volga interpretation. I am sure this in a modern look at a Soviet Union Volga Pobeda. Recently, a lot of kinda tuning style Pobeda’s were made usually equipped with BMW engine.
Volga Pobeda was designed by russian engineers for Stalin, right after WW2. It managed to win a medal in World Car exhibition in Brussels and soon after it become a world trend setter [?!]. The most noticable feature of Pobeda was the absence of wheel arch skirts – it was later widely used in Europe and USA.
Pobeda was followed by GAZ 21G that also won award in Brussels Exhibition. Automatic gear box was only produced in 1957… GAZ 21P was introduced as a replacement to 21G. The difference – no automatic transmission … and 75 HP….
