2015 SRT Barracuda by Jon Sibal

2013 Viper is the first car for the separate SRT brand cars. 2015 SRT Barracuda is the next one. Sadly, it is rumored to replace the Challenger [and that’s unacceptable!].

Overseas sales strategy says the LX platform is too big for the pony car [Magnum, Charger, 300] and CAFE strangle for better fuel economy. Next generations of Mustang and Camaro will definitely be offered with 4-cyl options, so FIAT comes handy with their new RWD platform [E-EVO being developed for Lancia, Alfa Romeo and possibly Maserati].

Chrysler is motivated to develop that platform, so SRT Barracuda will be the first car built on this platform in 2015. As for the engine choice 2.4 liter Tigershark I-4 and 3.6 Pentastar V6 with direct injection will be offered  while the future of V8 HEMI is very unclear.

Jon Sibal envisioned his own idea of how the 2015 SRT Barracuda may look like. And we hope Chrysler will see this render, ’cause we like it a lot.
