Hertz teamed up with Penske Racing and developed their special edition 2014 Mustang GT which will be available for rental only. The legacy package started back in 1966 with the same model year Shelby GT350H.
Even though the buzz about Hertz renta Mustang isn’t that big these days, but the package will definitely get somemoderate attention. It starts as regular Mustang GT and then gets some Boss 302 Laguna Seca parts and Penske’s input of custom air intake and exhaust, retuned ECU, new gear ratios, Brembo brakes and legendary Hetrtz black and yelow paint scheme.
All of that will get that rental pony “something” more than standard 420 horses – this info is still unknown. $180/day. Ka-Ching!
