The market first saw Camaro back in 1967. It got a major redesing in 1970 and that year Camaro Rally Sport is what a lucky 21 yo Garth Hammonds is driving.
His car is a genuine RS and now is stuffed by upgrades. But 3-4 years earlier (Garth was 18 at that time) the car needed a full restoration. He soon started to work at TMI Products (interior company for Camaros, Chevelles, Mustangs and VWs) where Larry, his boss, offered his Camaro to be featured at their SEMA booth. As a pro-tourer of course. Garth agreed and since his father, Johny (Johny’s Auto Color), is a professional painter the paint job was no problem to start first. The body color choice was Mini Cooper’s Thunder Blue. TMI was doing Camaro’s interior (suede headliner, sport seat upholstery, sport console, and sport door panels) and the sponsors* kept sending box after box of goodies:
