Last Dodge Viper

The last Dodge Viper happened to be coupe. It was factory customized with and for the largest personal [over 40] Viper collection owners D’Ann Rauh and Wayne Ruh. The last snake was painted in bronzed gold paint [from House of Kolor] and got custom stripes painted by SRT’s Bob Soroka. The stripes are pictograms of race tracks that are important in Dodge Viper’s history. The car is mounted on 5-spoke dark graphite forged aluminum wheels. Interior was also customized with leather by the guy that worked on past Viper projects with that family.
Dodge built about 500 unit in 2010 and about a half of them were special edition models [1:33, Voodoo [31unit], 30 Snakeskin ACR’s, 5 units of Canada Edition, 20 ACR roadsters, 10 Reverse ACRs, 10 Unigue Stripes, 5 Plum=crazy Vipers, 5 silver Center Band, 50 Final edition Vipers, and probably 25 units of racecars -- SRT10 ACR-X]. This Dodge Viper is the last of current generation Vipers built at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in detroit.

Custom Dodge Charger by Doug Schramm

What You see here is custom Dodge Charger STR8 designed by Doug Schramm and build by Metalcrafters. 2-door Charger conversion isn’t big news today – many custom builders do that, but Doug redesigned his Charger to get much more retro look. In fact, tail lights are the original ones taken from 1968 Charger while the front one were taken from the new Challenger.
Special matte copper paint from House of Kolor and tribute side stripes makes this custom Dodge Charger look even more retro. Good looking beast…

Reborn: Sox and Martin Collector Series Hemi Cuda

Mr. Norm’s Garage has news again – they teamed up with Ronnie Sox’s wife and Buddy Martin himself to build a small run of the new Sox & Martin Collector Series Hemi Cuda cars based on the new Dodge Challenger. Ronnie and Buddy were well known 1960-1970 drag racers that won dozens of wins with their famous red/white/blue Hemi powered Plymouth cars.
The new Sox and Martin Collector Series Hemi Cuda uses customized Mr. Norm’s Garage Cuda package for the new Challenger – Cuda grille, Cuda tail lights, hood scoop, retro style wheels and of course red/white/blue S&M paint scheme. Base model includes 625 HP while Super Stock Edition model develops amazing 725 HP. Kenne Bell supercharger and suspenssion from Hotchkis let powerful things happen…

1967 Fast Forward Mustang

This 1967 Fast Forward Mustang Fastback is one more masterpeace of Rad Rides by Troy. The request to built this custom muscle car was given by eBay Motors and Primedia, which is parent Hot Rod magazine company, in order to show the power of e-shoping – custom Mustang was listed on eBay.
Fast Forward Mustang features shaved metal body which s painted in custom silver color. Custom interior, of course, and the most important peace – modified 351 GT-40 Ford crate aluminum engine with GT-40’s intake manifolds, centrifugal supercharger, dual exhaust, 4 speed automatic transmission.
Well, looks like there’s no pony blood anymore – just pure 67 Fast Forward Mustang with 360 HP.

Posies Aeroliner Sport

Looks like flashy names like Foose and Coddington may have one more serious competitor – Ken Fenical. His 2006 Posies Aeroliner Sport hotrod is totally worth to steal the show even from them.
Ken was inspired by 30’s French Coachbuilders so he took some design elements from their work and started to convert 1935 Ford into Aeroliner. His crew stretched the chassis up to 139-inch and mounted the Almighty Roush 427R Dart V8 engine which develops 531 HP [4-barrel Holley carburetor].
This 2-seater has an aluminum body with fabric covered roof, a pair of Corvette bucket seats, HiFi sound system, air conditionier, Wilwood brakes, etc. Posies Aeroliner Sport was listed for $250.000 – quite a bargain.

JL Full Throttle Hemisfear by Chip Foose

This eye-catching Foose coupe was unveiled in 2006 SEMA show, but the idea of this car was generated years before, in 1990, when Chip Foose was a student and attended in Chrysler’s niche market vehicle design program. He managed to blend three different niches: hotrod, super car and muscle car. Mid-engine configuration for super car, hotrod styling and power of muscle car.
At first, this concept car which is now called JL Full Throttle Hemisfear or Foose Coupe was supposed to be one-of-the-kind, but sponsors from RC2 Corp. suggested a 50-unit run. The idea to make the body from metal was soon replaced by carbon fiber material. They fitted 392 HEMI SEFI Crate V8 Engine [6.4 liter, 540 HP] which is visible though the rear window. Well, looks like this 3 million dollar investment into Chip Foose’s dream coupe -- JL Full Throttle Hemisfear -- is worth each penny.

1970 Foose Terracuda

What would You get if You add 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and Chip Foose? Right, Plymouth Terracuda. A rich guy named Darren Metropoulos ordered this creation from Foose and asked him to make this 1970 Terracuda… brown. As his Brietling watch that collector liked.
This 1970 Plymouth Baraccuda -- Terracuda happened to have its front wheels moved 2 inches forward -- this helped to lower the car. This custom Foose Terracuda is powered by 6.4 liter Hemi engine with Chip’s handmade carbon valve covers. The suspension is taken form C5 Corvette, transmission -- Tremec 5-speed. Well, all in all this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda is now all custom Chip Foose Terracuda.

Custom 1956 Chrysler 300B

Even though this custom 1956 Chrysler 300B didn’t won the Ridler Award it is still one of the most amazing, flawless eye-catching custom cars Troy Trepanier has ever built. There were no boundaries to built it so 300B became seriously beautiful.

‘56 300B began its life as white one with 354 Hemi engine last driven back in 70’s. The Rad Rides crew fabricated complete chassis using Viper’s suspension components, put Baer brakes in, mounted 19 and 20 inch custom wheels, used master cylinder from Vette and steering rack from Viper. 354 Hemi was replaced by late model Dodge’s NASCAR powered 358 cubic long-block which was empowered with 70mm Precision Turbo combined with Griffin charge cooler. There are special good looking fenderwell vents to serve that turbo. 300B’s transmission -- GM 4L80E automatic.

The interior of this custom 1956 Chrysler 300B is tastefully combined of fine-tan leather and Rose bird cloth as an original Chrysler fabric pattern. Dashboard was also customized with gauges, hidden navigation system, LED lighting, etc. The exterior body is painted in 3 tone paint scheme which completes this super sweet 1956 Chrysler 300B build by Troy Trepanier and Rad Rides.
